Mapping clinical practices of physiotherapy in mental health care around the world: A global survey.
AAA
The International Organisation for Physiotherapy in Mental Health (IOPTMH):Workforce Data Survey
"About one in eight people in the world live with a mental disorder. Mental health is an integral part of our general health and well-being and a basic human right." WHO 2022; World mental health report.
KU Leuven and the IOPTMH Clinical Practice Committee invites you to participate in this brief global survey, which represents a review of an original survey conducted by the IOPTMH in 2017. This study is carried out by KU Leuven, with the IOPTMH providing support solely in the recruitment process by distributing it to their member countries.
The aim of this survey is to provide an overview of the abilities of physiotherapists and some of the difficulties that they may encounter in their professional field. It is anticipated that this information may be useful in guiding further research into how the IOPTMH can best support physiotherapists in working with people who present with mental health problems or disorders.
The survey is anonymous. No personal data will be accessed, and no personal details will be made available. There are no right nor wrong answers. Please feel free to answer as best describes your work. The survey is estimated to take 5 minutes to complete.
